Born and raised in Bristol, England, Alaric spent nearly three decades in the UK before relocating to Asia in 2013, where he spent the next 12 years in a series of increasingly senior leadership positions with Marsh.
Having progressed from a graduate to a Managing Director over a 15-year career with Marsh, Alaric has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams and delivering growth across diverse markets. His expertise spans multinational insurance programmes, complex risk placements, business development, commercial leadership, and strategic client advisory for multinational corporations and large regional organisations.
Alaric joined Howden in December 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer for Asia, and in July 2026, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Howden Hong Kong.
Under his leadership, the business is focused on accelerating growth, strengthening client relationships, attracting top talent, and delivering differentiated solutions through Howden’s global capabilities and entrepreneurial philosophy – taking Howden Hong Kong to the next phase of growth.
Outside of work, Alaric is passionate about leadership, motorsports, snow sports, and spending time with his family. He is married and has two daughters.
