Umasuten Karisnan is the Head of HR for the Intel Malaysia Design Centre. He has more than 20 years of local, regional and global human resources and operational management and leadership experience.
His areas span organisational capability and development, cultural transformation, employee engagement/relations, shared services centre, payroll, employee tax, benefits, relocation, employee reimbursements, employee data management, call centre support, equity, compensation and benefits, retention, talent acquisition and delivery.
In his current role, he is working with the leadership team to hire, integrate and develop scores of engineers involved in cutting-edge technology in powering the world. His main focus areas are on building the strategies in making Intel Malaysia the powerhouse of engineering design in the region.
