Carmen Chong’s role as the Director of People at Lalamove is to partner with senior leaders to work on organisational design, executive coaching, talent management and development to ensure they grow the organisational capabilities to meet the ever-growing business demands. Her mission is to enable the professional growth of people, ensuring that Lalamove is bound by one mission, vision and the same set of core values of passion, grit, humility and execution.

Before Lalamove, she worked in executive search for over eight years, specialising in recruiting investment professionals for blue blood private equity firms and hedge funds. She began her career as an Associate at Futurestep Korn/Ferry and was one of its founding team members in the Hong Kong and Shanghai office.

Chong holds a bachelor of social science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently participating in an executive education programme at INSEAD as a candidate for the certificate of global management focusing on leadership, coaching and business strategy for HR leaders.
