Yi ZHANG is the HR Director, Northeast Asia in RICHEMONT, the Swiss High Luxury Group. He leads HRDs and teams for all Richemont Regional functions & Maisons in the local markets including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Roger Dubuis, IWC, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, A.Lange & Sohne, Montblanc, Chloé, Dunhill, and WatchFinder.
Yi started his HR career from internship and joined Schneider Electric in 2004. He had a fast-track career with leadership experience across HR functions in different industries. The key roles he had are:

• HRD, Global Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, Global Hub, Schneider Electric
• HRD, Supply Chain Asia, Tory Burch
• HRVP, Global Supply Chain China (26 factories and 8 DCs), Schneider Electric
• HRVP, Global Value Brands (6 Brands in 28 countries & regions), Schneider Electric

He was the CHRO for the biggest Chinese Lighting Company – Opple Lighting in Shanghai before joining RICHEMONT.

Yi has rich experience in driving HR transformation & change management for organizations. He has launched People Operation model and co-led with Headquarter on HR digitalization. With his team, he also piloted HR Chatbot for employee Q&As, RPA for reporting efficiency & AI interview* for TA efficiency. He is a Mindgym certified “Performance & Feedback” coach and is passionate about growing people.
