Joey Chung is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. Her expertise encompasses the planning, development, and implementation of diverse HR initiatives, such as human capital solutions, reward and performance management systems, and staff development programs. As Haitong International’s Group Head of Human Resources, she directs human resources and learning and development strategies for the organization’s global operations.

Joey is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and holds the Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation from British Columbia and Yukon, is a Senior Certified Professional of the Society of Human Resources Management, a Chartered Corporate Governance Professional, and a Chartered Secretary.

Joey is frequently invited to speak at conferences and events. Besides her other responsibilities, she provides significant contributions to the human resources community, serving as a judge and organizing member for various industry award programs. Joey further uses her expertise by contributing to the community through active participation in various professional organizations. She is a member of both the HKCGI’s Investigation Group and its Competency Standards Framework Working Group. She also serves as a guest speaker for the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
