Alicia Yip is a seasoned HR leader with over 23 years of experience helping large organisations bridge the gap between business strategy and human capital management. Currently heading Organisational Development and Culture at Proton, she works to build alignment across a massive, diverse workforce.

Alicia specialises in managing change within complex environments, relying on clear data, benchmarking, and real delivery to earn the trust of stakeholders. Her expertise in shaping exceptional workplaces has also been recognised on a regional level, having served as a panel judge for the Employee Experience Awards (EXA) Malaysia.

Alicia is deeply passionate about day-to-day employee engagement and culture building. Prior to Proton, Alicia spent a focused year as the Head of HR for Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), where she spearheaded key operational and structural improvements. Across her career, her focus has always been on designing practical performance management structures that actually work for the people on the ground.
