Laurence Yap, an experienced HR professional, has dedicated 20 years to HR, focusing on learning and organisational development (L&OD). He has worked with diverse companies across 11 industries, including PayPal, First Solar, Pfizer, and Western Digital Media.<\/p>\n

As a co-founder of HR Leaders’ Circle, Transform Global, and Hacking HR, Laurence actively contributes to the HR profession and learns from his peers. He was named an HR Influencer in 2023. Along with colleagues, he organised the CHRO Nexus Forum 2024, which gathered over 200 CHROs and aspiring CHROs in Malaysia, and was considered for the Malaysia Book of Records.<\/p>\n

Laurence maintains an active presence on LinkedIn with over 100,000 contacts and founded the AI Newsletter, which has 5,500 subscribers exploring AI’s impact on the workplace.<\/p>\n

He holds a Master’s degree and a BA (Hons.) in Social Sciences from the University of Malaya, where he was awarded a Fellowship for his postgraduate studies.<\/p>\n
