Bryan Lim

Bryan Lim is a serial problem-solver and organisational change leader. He has a track record in delivering large-scale end-to-end talent and leadership development, culture building, organisation restructuring, starting-up operations, and organisational change initiatives.
At UOB, Bryan is Head of Group Talent & Development. Based in the Singapore Head Office, he is accountable for driving talent management, succession planning, leadership development, performance management and corporate learning and future-skilling across the group.
Since joining UOB in 2012, Bryan has played a significant role in successfully designing and implementing leadership development programmes and institutionalising UOB’s culture building initiatives. Some of the milestones include the Group-wide rollout of core values replying on a leaders-led approach and the use of various innovative learning and engagement tools, the establishment of the UOB Leadership Academy, regional management associate programme, refresh of the performance management strategy, launch of a ‘first of its kind’ large-scale learning initiative for UOB Singapore funded by wage credits from the Singapore government and in partnership with the national labour movement, as well as kicking off the award-winning Group-wide employee ‘Better U’ future-skilling programme.
Prior to joining UOB, Bryan held various senior leadership roles as Regional Head of HR, Global Learning & Development leader, and Regional Compensation & Benefits leader with several multinational organisations such as British American Tobacco plc, British Telecom plc, Kraft Foods Inc, and Neptune Orient Lines Limited. He is an active volunteer in community service organisations, a frequent speaker at regional conferences and a regular contributor to various HR magazines and publications.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from University of Birmingham, UK.
