Andre Young DipoPresma joined Schneider Electric East Asia in 2013 and is based out of Hong Kong. He leads the HR organisation in Schneider Electric Thailand and Laos. Previously, he led talent management for 15 countries in East Asia and the Japan Zone. He started his career with Schneider Electric as an HR leader for emerging countries to support its market entry into Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Brunei.

Before joining Schneider Electric, he worked in multinational organisations such as Hewlett-Packard and Sompo Japan Insurance, in the areas of human resources, business development and project management. He has worked and lived in several countries, including the United States, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia, and now Hong Kong.

He holds a degree in international relations from GadjahMada University, Indonesia and an MBA from National University of Singapore. He also studied Japanese and politics at Chiba University in Japan. Besides English, he speaks Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese.

He is an innovation enthusiast who believes no one is too experienced to learn and no one should be afraid of experimenting.
