Portia Tang is the Director and Head of Professional Resources Solutions and Client Services of BDO in Hong Kong, possessing over 20 years of experience in professional and management consultancy firm obtained in Hong Kong and Australia. Portia advises clients from private and public listed companies, as well as multinational corporations in a variety of industries, including but not limited to financial institutions, retail, manufacturing, servicing and trading companies on talent acquisition and management, business outsourcing and process re-engineering, business restructuring, IPOs, mergers and acquisition transactions.

In recent years, she has focused on introducing the concept of the Gig Economy and promoting the benefits of Talent Sharing and Hybrid Resourcing Model through the provision of an “Alternative Workforce” to the HR community in Hong Kong. She is a Fellow Member, the Chairlady (2017) and Committee Member (2011-2019) of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (Hong Kong Chapter) and a Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant.
