Vanessa has more than 20 years of professional experience in HR management with world-class multinational companies. She has worked with companies spanning various industries such as Bemis, W.L. Gore and Associates, Royal Philips and Star Cruises.
Before joining Herman Miller, Vanessa led a team of HR practitioners in COE (centre of excellence) and HRBP (HR business partners), she formulated the human resources strategy at Bemis Asia Pacific to foster growth, drive results and increase organizational effectiveness. Vanessa joined Herman Miller in Sep 2019 and has been leading 3 HR teams located in India, Hong Kong and mainland China.
Being a well-versed HR generalist with profound knowledge, she is familiar with areas, including but not limited to talent management, leadership competency, organizational development and total rewards. She is specifically experienced in post-M&A integration and culture transformation.
