Arunesh Kumar has a degree in Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources. He started his professional journey in 2009 with the TATA Group before moving to GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in 2012. Over the years, he has held multiple local and regional roles spanning business partnering, talent acquisition, and learning & development across GSK’s Pharma, Vaccines, and Consumer businesses in India and Singapore. In 2019, he relocated to Singapore as a Regional Commercial Business Partner and has been in his current role as the Site HR Lead for GSK’s Vaccines manufacturing facility in Tuas since 2022.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Arunesh has a deep passion for sports, running, and practicing zumba. He has been an active health & wellbeing champion and a trained facilitator for energy for performance and mindfulness programmes. Most recently, he was privileged to be selected for GSK’s Trek for Health initiative, joining 40 employees across the globe in raising nearly GBP 400,000 for Save the Children and Amref Health. As part of this initiative, he trekked to the summit of Mount Kenya at 5,000 meters in February 2025.
