Managing HR for 8 countries (Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan). Ella manages a team of HRBPs, HR Admins, HRIS, TA, Payroll & Benefits in APAC, and reports to the Global Head of Human Resources (Chicago) and the CEO Asia Pacific (Singapore). Handling HR APAC operations working closely with Global HR HQ on organizational development and strategy, policy and procedures, recruitment (CEI KAH qualified), work pass applications, employment contracts, onboarding, mid-term reviews, annual performance reviews, succession planning, career progression, HR compliance and governance, employee relations, off boarding and HR projects.

For over 20 years, Ella has held roles in London, Hong Kong and Singapore for blue chip MNCs Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), UBS, CSFB, Credit Agricole (WI Carr Securities), Goldman Sachs & PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her experience in Human Resources Management includes Generalist (including Executive Search); Pensions Administration; International Compensation, Benefits & Relocation, covering Equity Sales, Fixed Income & Derivatives, Global Payments, Private Banking, Investment Banking & Research, Merchant Banking & Graduate Training Programs. Recipient of the prestigious ‘Chase Service Star Award’ bestowed by Chase Manhattan Bank in recognition for ‘Performing above and beyond the call of duty in the interactions with colleagues and clients.’
