Emily joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2022 with over 10 years of experience in user experience, human-centered design, innovation consulting, corporate venture building, and big tech.<\/p>\n

She started her journey in AI at the intersection of human-computer interaction and natural language processing, researching into empathy and emotional intelligence in virtual agents.<\/p>\n

She is now Head of Human-Centered AI and Innovation of Strategy and Talent at Standard Chartered combining her knowledge in innovation, AI, and UX to advocate for and drive adoption of responsible AI usage.<\/p>\n

Emily celebrates collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, drives crucial conversations about the future of AI and its impact on workforce, and inspires stakeholders toward an informed, conscientious, and realistic optimism toward adoption of emerging tech like GenAI.<\/p>\n

A keen advocate for using innovation responsibly, Emily is also a member of the Group Responsible AI Council and Review Forums, Data Ethics Working Group, and Group GenAI Task Force. She aspires to uplift female representation and inclusion in the fields of AI and tech.<\/p>\n

Outside of work, she acts as an AI advisory member to HR leaders as part of the \u201cAgents of Change\u201d initiative at the Centre for Synchronous Leadership.<\/p>\n
