Amit has been associated with Zimmer Biomet (ZB) since February 2020. Currently, he is working as HR Leader – APAC GBS and Malaysia since March 2022 and responsible for setting up APAC Global Business Services in Kuala Lumpur and HR business partnering for Malaysia commercial organization. During his first 2 years in Zimmer Biomet India, he was HR Director – India and responsible for Orthopedic and Dental businesses in South Asia. Prior to joining ZB, Amit worked for companies like Ingersoll Rand as HR Leader – India & SAARC Markets, Climate Solutions BU and Sennheiser Electronics Private Limited as Manager – HR & Legal, India. During his career of 21 years, he worked in varied industries like Healthcare, Industrial products, Consumer durable, Lifestyle and business consulting. This gives him an exposure to B2B, B2C and manufacturing operations. In his 21+ years of professional experience in Human Resources he has had the opportunity in managing varied and diverse facets of the function. This would include stints in strategic HR, business partnering, talent management, talent acquisition, HR advisory and change management agent roles.
