Hans Han

Hans is Head of Regional Rewards, Director COE, Asia Pacific at STMicroelectronics, based in Singapore. He oversees total rewards for more than 16,000 employees across 14 countries, covering R&D, Sales and Marketing, and Manufacturing. He is responsible for designing and delivering effective, sustainable Total Rewards solutions for the Asia Pacific organisation and is a member of the global team leading a grading transformation project.

Hans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Finance, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. He has over 30 years of experience across business, general management, and human resources. He began his career as a trainer, moved into HR consulting, and subsequently specialised in regional compensation and benefits for multinational corporations. He has worked for global organisations such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Johnson Controls, Huntsman, and Bridgestone, as well as leading consulting firms including Hay Group and Mercer HR Consulting.

Hans has extensive experience across the full HR spectrum, including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, international assignments, job analysis and evaluation, competency assessment, performance management, and HRIS. He has trained, presented to, and advised thousands of executives and professionals across Asia Pacific, including leaders from numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Recognised as a thought leader, change champion, and sought-after speaker, he has been invited to share his expertise at HR summits, C&B congresses, and benefits forums in cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. His signature achievements include creating a global grading tool, developing regional compensation frameworks, piloting flexible benefits programmes, leading incentive design initiatives, and driving regional benefits reviews.
