Ker Ying Tiang

Ker Ying Tiang is the Head of Performance and Reward for IKEA Southeast Asia, which operates IKEA stores and Ikano Centres (shopping centres anchored by IKEA) across the region. He and his team is responsible for designing and managing rewards policies and programmes (in the areas of compensation, benefits, mobility, recognition, and performance management employment conditions) that are aligned to the organisation’s business and people strategies.
Prior to this role, Ker Ying was a talent consultant with Korn Ferry (Hay Group) and Mercer, where he was actively engaged in various compensation and executive compensation projects for companies of different industries and business environments across private and public sectors. He also co-authored the ‘Remuneration Committee Guide’ for the Singapore Institute of Directors, which serves as a reference guide on Executive Remuneration and Talent Management. Previously, he was involved in advising and managing global mobility, regional personal tax, and immigration matters.
Ker Ying received his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the National University of Singapore.
