Nelson is the first Group HR Director of the Eurokars Group, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and China. He has held other positions such as the Founding CEO of the Institute of HR Professionals; Chief HR Officer of SEAMEO RELC; and Regional HR Head of Sime Darby, responsible for the HR function of all 6 Divisions in Singapore including specific divisions in Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong.

Nelson has extensive HR experience in the hotel, service, electronics, semiconductor, consulting, environmental, construction, transportation, motor/automotive, property, hospitality, engineering, industrial/heavy equipment, plantation/oil, insurance and bedding industries. He is recognised as a “Leading HR Leader” in the SHRI HR Awards 2010. He was appointed as a member of the Board of the National Community Leadership Institute, WDATraining and Adult Education Skills Council and Board of Directors of 6 Sime Darby companies.
