Edward Cheong is a seasoned international business professional with over 20 years of managerial expertise spanning various industries, notably manufacturing, food and beverage, environmental, commodities, consultancy, finance, healthcare, and automobile sectors. His extensive professional background includes a significant focus on China, where he has been actively involved since 2000. Throughout his career, Edward has successfully led HR teams both locally and in different countries, overseeing the complete range of HR functions such as talent acquisition, total rewards, training and development (including change management), HR operations, and compensation and benefits for the entire region.<\/p>\n

Edward’s skillset encompasses diverse areas, including involvement in numerous Mergers and Acquisitions, takeover initiatives, general management, HR workforce restructuring, corporate social responsibility, HR outsourcing, employee communications, industrial and union negotiations, talent pipeline establishment, business development, and more. Currently, Edward holds the position of Regional Head of Human Resources and Administration for Asia at Amer International Group, where he continues to drive strategic HR initiatives in the region.<\/p>\n
