Albert Marcelo is a senior HR leader with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations navigate growth, transformation, and workforce change across global companies. He currently serves as People Experience Director for Greater Asia & Indonesia at Unilever, where he leads the delivery and transformation of People Experience across diverse markets in the region. His role focuses on strengthening operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, enabling effective people practices, and partnering with senior HR leaders to deliver scalable and high-quality employee experiences.

Previously, Albert served as Country HR Director at American Express Philippines, where he led the HR function supporting approximately 4,000 employees. During his tenure, he drove initiatives across talent, leadership, employee engagement, culture, and organisational effectiveness. His earlier regional and global HR leadership experience includes roles with Johnson & Johnson and DHL, spanning talent development, workforce transformation, employee relations, and HR operations.

Albert is also Chair of the HR Subcommittee of the Global Capability Center Council of the Philippines and a Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. His career has given him a practical perspective on the intersection of people, leadership, and business performance—particularly how organisations can build accountability and ownership while enabling employees and leaders to continue performing through transformation and change.
