Robert is the Chief People Officer of GCash, the leading finance app in the Philippines. He has a strong focus in establishing Gcash as a purpose-driven organisation, and making the company an ‘Employer of Choice’ for talents aspiring to build their careers in the digital technology space.

He has 28 years of experience in human resources, ranging from HR business partnership to talent acquisition, and a big focus on learning & development. Prior to Gcash, he worked at G Globe Telecom; building the company’s corporate university (Globe University). Robert’s professional experience covers industries such as financial technology, telecommunications, business process management and airlines. Companies he has worked with include Globe Telecom, Philippine Airlines, M and Thomson Reuters. Currently he is also part of the Ayala HR Council.

Robert earned his BS Psychology degree from University of the Philippines, and Master in Business Administration major in Marketing from De La Salle University.
