Tao Thongkong is a dynamic leader with nearly two decades of experience across law, retail operations, and human resources. He began his career as a lawyer before joining Decathlon, where he built retail businesses from the ground up, launching the first upcountry store and coaching multiple store directors. Today, he serves as the Chief People Officer at Decathlon Thailand, where he has transformed HR from a traditional function into a business strategy, directly driving results through upskilling initiatives and achieving the company’s lowest turnover since its inception. Alongside leadership roles in multinational and Thai companies, he also founded a firm advising startups in tech, retail, and services.
