Wittapon Jawjit currently serves as Head of Banpu People at Banpu Group, overseeing all countries where Banpu has its footprints. He is a key person in introducing AI to Banpu, from raising awareness to driving adoption that creates value for Banpu’s businesses.

Prior to his tenure at Banpu, he worked with two major financial institutions, with responsibilities spanning both capital markets and commercial banking. He also led Mercer Consulting as the first Thai national to head this renowned human resource consulting firm.

Beyond the corporate world, he contributes to the public sector in various capacities, including as a member of the Board of the National Innovation Agency, a member of the Human Resources Management Committee at the National Science and Technology Development Agency, and a member of the Human Resource Management Committee at the Synchrotron Light Research Institute.

He also served as Chairperson for the selection of the National Innovation Awards and the Prime Minister Awards for Startups from 2022 to 2024.
