Shankar Nagalingam is the Global HR Services Executive Director with IHS Markit. He has had more than 25 years of experience in numerous human resources functions, supporting services and solutions, technical support, business operations, manufacturing, information technology, sales and marketing and contact centres, within multinational environments.

In his current portfolio, he is responsible for Global HR Services, and focused on building operations excellence and providing a world-class HR service delivery.

He also is the HR Lead for IHS Malaysia. Shankar also led the global change management for the Work Day and ServiceNow transformation at IHS Markit. He successfully launched Live Chat globally and continues to focus on digitalisation to create a superior employee experience. The emphasis is to build a high-tech environment with high touch.

His next endeavour will be on artificial intelligence in human resources. He is a self-motivated, inspirational and people person with a passion in motivating, coaching and managing people towards a common goal.
